Say AEIOU is a team of Speech and Language Pathologist who provide individual and/or group therapy services to children and adults of all ages.
We treat disorders for speech, language, social communication, cognitive impairment, feeding and swallowing.
We provide clinic, in-home and telehealth therapy services and have been serving the community since 2016.
We use intense play based strategies to increase overall communication. Our mission is to build life skills for functional communication that will carryover into everyday life.
Taylor ‘The Helper’ Yap
She schedules birthday parties, gathers feeding and speech materials for therapy sessions, communicates with managers and office staff for local community events. She really has a niche for helping children with Autism. During her free time, she loves eating, helping others with cleaning and taking pictures of others!

Chareva Arnold, M.S. CCC-SLP
Speech and Language Pathologist
Chareva Arnold attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) where she received her B.S. in Biology and Minor in Chemistry. She obtained her M.S. in Communication and Science Disorders at Tennessee State University (TSU).
At UTC, she earned the opportunity to study abroad in South Africa at the University of KwaZulu Natal and participated in the Ronald E. McNair Program in Memphis, TN with the Scholars Research Program.
While pursuing her Master’s at TSU, Chareva volunteered by helping children with disabilities ride horses, reading to children in group homes and mentoring children with Autism. In addition, she joined the TSU Speech Pathology Research Team which afforded her the opportunity to present at the National Black Association of Speech Language Hearing convention.
Chareva has experience working with clients in various environments such as hospitals, acute care, adult rehabilitation centers, homes, daycares, schools and private practice facilities.
She has helped patients with feeding, swallowing, suck-swallow-breath patterns, tongue, lip and cheek ties, stuttering, and deaf and/or hearing impaired and so much more within the scope of Speech Therapy.
Chareva has received specialized training in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and other Augmentative and Alternative Communication Devices (AAC), Modified Barium Swallow Studies and received an award from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) for completing Continuing Education.
Her favorite pastime activities include reading, puzzles, and eating. Amongst her family and friends, Chareva is an expert foodie.
Lastly, she is very passionate about helping others and educating the community.
Maria Lee, M.S. CCC-SLP
Speech and Language Pathologist
Maria Lee has been a certified Speech Language Pathologist since 2012. She graduated with a M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College in Boston, MA. During her time at Emerson, she was selected to participate in ASHA’s(meaning) Minority Leadership Program and was the Student Liaison for the Massachusetts Speech and Language Association.
Shortly after graduating with her Master’s degree, Maria and her husband moved to Las Vegas to escape the cold winters.
Maria has experience working with clients in a variety of settings such as hospitals, nursing facilities, homes, day care facilities, and private practices.
Her special interests include autism, aphasia, apraxia of speech, and TBI (what's this). She creates resources and activities for other Speech Language Pathologists, teachers, parents, and anyone interested on these topics on her Teachers Pay Teachers online store.
During her spare time, Maria loves to bake cakes. She is known in the Valley for her tasty Red Velvet Cakes and Strawberry Crunch Cakes. She provides delicious sweet treats for those lucky enough to get a bite. In addition, Maria volunteers to be an English as a Second Language (ESL) tutor at a local nonprofit organization serving recent refugees.

Services Offered
Individual therapy
Structured one-on-one speech and language therapy. Enhancing skills for communication; to help individuals meet developmental milestones.
Feeding and Swallowing Therapy
Feeding helps with tolerance level and refusal of foods and meals, prevents choking on solids and liquids, encourages socializing during mealtimes.
Group Therapy
Say AEIOU provides group therapy for children of all ages. “Yield to Build” group therapy enhances cognitive development, behavioral management and peer communication/interaction. We target social awareness and pragmatic skills through play based therapy. Ages 1-18. Depends on individual based needs. The patient(s) are matched according to skill level, cognitive ability, family schedules and the child’s level of tolerance.
Adult Therapy
Have you or a loved one had a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)?, Seizure?, Fall?; or Stroke? and it affected speech, swallowing, memory and problem solving skills?

Say AEIOU accepts patients with the following medical coverage: Medicaid Fee For Service, Health Plan of Nevada, Silver Summit, Aetna, Molina, and Tricare. Cash payments accepted.
